Wild Rift Patch Notes 0.5 – Closed Beta

League of Legends Wild Rift Closed Beta resumed last October 7 in regions including Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Japan and South Korea. Following its resume, Riot released Wild Rift patch notes for the newer version of the closed beta.

Practice Mode

The new Practice Mode has been added to Wild Rift. This allows players to try out any champions in the current roster to practice tricky combos and improve their last-hitting skills.

  • All champions unlocked
  • Swap champion
  • Instant level-up
  • Invincibility
  • 1-second cooldowns
  • Infinite gold
  • Enemy and ally dummy targets
  • Enemy AI champion (selectable and configurable)
  • Remove all minions
  • Remove Fog of War

Language Support

With Wild Rift closed beta adding South Korea and Japan, the game has added Korean and Japanese language support to the game.

Account Reset

As the Closed Beta resumed, all accounts have been fully reset except the following exceptions:

  • Friends list
  • Chat history
  • Custom item loadouts
  • Settings
  • Permissions
  • Previously-purchased Wild Cores are returned with a 20% bonus

Ahri - Wild Rift
  • Passive – Essence Theft
    • New – After Ahri casts 3 abilities that hit an enemy, her next spell that hits an enemy heals her.
  • First Skill – Orb of Deception
    • Removed – Grants a burst of movement speed while the orb is out
  • Second Skill – FoxFire
    • New – Grants a burst of movement speed when cast

Game Systems

Wild Rift - Gameplay
ATTACK SPEED

The attack speed reduction formula has been updated, so champions like Malphite and items like Randuin’s Omen can have a more significant impact.

New formula: Base Attack Speed × (1 + Bonus Attack Speed) * (1 – Attack Speed Slows)

MINIONS

Super minions can now be seen through Fog of War, so players can better strategize for late-game sieges.

PINGS

Ping visuals have been improved to make them moren noticeable. Players can also now drag “on my way” pings to specific targets.

TURRETS

If two turrets in the same lane fall within 45 seconds of each other, the next structure will take 66% reduced damage for 30 seconds. This is indicated by a golden glow.

“Domino Bonus” damage reduction: 66% → 30%

UI

Added and polished the in-game UI.
