Akali is an Assassin Champion commonly played in the Mid-Lane, but can also be played in the Top Lane. Her skill kit allows her to deal immense damage to enemy champions, while having the ability to sustain herself during team fights by using her dash effects. She also has a invisibility skill to keep her safe or to engage fights during 1v1 encounters. AKALI – THE ROGUE ASSASSIN

Abandoning the Kinkou Order and her title of the Fist of Shadow, Akali now strikes alone, ready to be the deadly weapon her people need. Though she holds onto all she learned from her master Shen, she has pledged to defend Ionia from its enemies, one kill at a time. Akali may strike in silence, but her message will be heard loud and clear: fear the assassin with no master.

Recommended Build
- Hextech Gunblade – It grants Akali hybrid damage and dual vamp for her to deal and scale on both her AD and AP stat. It also has a passive which deals bonus damage and slows down the enemy.
- Infinity Orb – It grants all of Akali’s abilities with bonus critical damage on low HP enemies. It also increases your execution potential by a great deal.
- Ionian Boots of Lucidity – Decreases all of Akali’s ability cooldowns. Upgrade with the Stasis Enchant.
- Statis Enchant – Allows you to counter burst damage champions.
- Rabadon’s Deathcap – Provides the highest AP stat among all items. It will also help you spike Akali’s damage output and make you able to kill enemies even with an incomplete combo.
- Lich Bane – Adds an additional component for Akali’s burst damage from its Spellblade passive.

- Liandry’s Torment – It makes Akali’s ability deal %HP damage which is great against tanks. You can also activate its Madness Passive to grant bonus damage the longer you are in a team fight by utilizing Akali’s Twilight Shroud.

AKALI RUNES
Keystone Rune: Electrocute
- Basic attacks and abilities generate stacks on enemy champions hit, up to one per attack or cast. Applying 3 stacks to a target within a 3 second period causes them to be struck by lightning, dealing them 30 – 184 (based on level) (+ 40% bonus AD) (+ 25% AP) Adaptive damage.
- Adaptive Damage: Deals either physical or magic damage depending on your bonus stats, defaulting based on the origin of the effect.
- Cooldown: 25s
Minor 1 Domination: Brutal
- Adaptive Damage: Gain 7 AD and 2% armor penetration, or 14 AP and 2% magic penetration.
Minor 2 Resolve: Spirit Walker
- Passive: Gain 50 maximum health and 20% slow resistance.
Minor 3 Inspiration: Sweet Tooth
- Passive: Increases Honeyfruit healing by 25%, each fruit eaten also provides 20 Gold.
AKALI – SPELLS
- Flash – Teleport a short distance forward or towards the aimed direction (150 second cooldown).
- Ignite – Ignites target enemy champion, dealing 60 − 410 (based on level) true damage over 5 seconds and inflicting them with Grievous Wounds, reducing healing effects by 50% (90 second cooldown).
AKALI – ABILITIES
Passive – Assassin’s Mark
Dealing spell damage to a champion creates a ring of energy around them for 4 seconds. Crossing the ring empowers Akali’s next attack to gain 100 range, deal 40 bonus magic damage (40+ 60% bonus AD + 50% AP) and restore 15 energy. Akali can also gain 40% Movement Speed while moving toward the ring. Upon crossing the ring, she gains 50% Movement Speed While moving toward enemy champions for 2 seconds.
1 – Five Point Mark
Akali throws out five kunai, dealing damage based on her bonus Attack Damage and Ability Power (25 + 65% AD + 60% AP). Enemies struck at maximum range are also slowed by 50% for 0.5 seconds.
2 – Twilight Shroud
Akali drops a cover of smoke for 5.5 seconds and briefly gains (30%) Movement Speed and restores (8)Energy. While inside the shroud, Akali becomes invisible. Attacking or using abilities will break the invisibility for 0.8 seconds.
3 – Shuriken Flip
Akali flips backward and fires a shuriken forward, dealing (63) magic damage (45 + 35% AD + 50% AP). The first enemy it hits is marked for 3 seconds. Re-casting enables Akali to instantly dash to the marked target, dealing additional (63) magic damage (40 + 35% AD + 50% AP).
Ultimate – Perfect Execution
Akali leaps in a direction, damaging enemies she strikes which deals (85 + 50% bonus AD) physical damage. Re-casting enables Akali to dash in the target direction, dealing 85 magic damage (85 + 50% AP), The damage is also increased up to 300% based on targets’ missing Health. Deals max damage to targets below 35% health.

AKALI – CHAMPION ANALYSIS
Strengths
- Akali has a loaded ability kit, allowing her to deal massive amounts of damage to enemy while being hard to kill.
- Using her skill kit, she can secure and kill enemy carries while being relatively safe with her Twilight Shroud.
- Akali also has an outplay kit: (1) she has an ability that can make her invisible, and (2) she has two abilities that has 2 casts of dash effects.
Weaknesses
- Akali is considered as a high skill floor champion. To top it, she is not an easy champion to learn for beginners. The player need to have sufficient knowledge of the game before they can effectively learn how to execute Akali’s skills.
- She is also a high risk champion, because she can easily fall behind the game if she miss her skill shots or initiate ill-timed clashes that can result to her or her ally’s death.
- It is also hard for Akali to function in full blow team fights, because she is squishy champion that can be easily be killed by an enemy’s ultimate skill.
AKALI – GAMEPLAY TIPS
Early Game Tips
- During the early game, use and abuse Akali’s first skill, 1 – Five Point Strike, to harass enemy champion and last hit minions. Try hitting your enemy with your 1 – Five Point Strike and your Passive – Assassin’s Mark. If that is not possible, use it to last hit minions.
- To force an engagement with the enemy champion, use your 2 – Twilight Shroud and 3 – Shuriken Toss.
- A simple combo to kill the enemy is to activate 2 – Twilight Shroud after hitting the enemy and combo it with your 3 – Shuriken Toss. If you maanged to hit the enemy champion, use 1 – Five Point Strike and auto-attack to secure the kill.
- Once you hit Level 5, it will be easier for you to kill enemy champions with your full combo and Ignite spell.
- Make sure to look for a kill everytime your ultimate is available. Help jungler doing ganks on both side-lanes, and always secure the kill if necessary.
Late Game Tips
- The late game is a hard stage for Akali to secure kills as the enemy team are likely to be always grouped together. However, use this opportunity to look out for champions farming alone or split pushing.
- Remember that your target should be Attack Damage Champions (ADC) and Ability Power Champions (APC). Always kill squishy champions.
- If a clash breaks out, wait for the enemy team have burned their abilities so you can pick your kills one by one without putting yourself in danger.
