AHRI – CHAMPION ANALYSIS
Strengths
- Ahri is a great pick for Mid-Lane. She is an all around champion, who can do damage, self-sustain, has crowd control abilities, and the mobility to boot with. This is what makes her a safe pick for players who want to climb their ranks as a mid-laner.
- Ahri can win most 1v1 fights against almost all heroes due to her flexible skil kit. She also has the mobility from her Spirit Rush and Fox Fire.
- Due to her mobility and range, she has no problem creating picks and initiating fights in late game by using her Charm.
Weaknesses
- As an all-around champion, Ahri can never be excellent at one area. Her stats are pretty average at best, and she cannot outshine other champions in just an area.
- Ahri’s abilities consume a lot of Mana during the early game, which can limit your moves.
- Two of her abilities, Orb of Deception and Charm, are both skill shots which can heavily penalize the player if they are not executed properly.
- Without her ultimate, it will be hard for Ahri to escape teamfights.
AHRI – GAMEPLAY TIPS
Early Game Tips
- With an adequate range, Ahri can poke the enemy champion using her first skill, Orb of Deception, while maintaining a safe distance. Use this advantage to secure last hits and shove the wave.
- Use her second skill, Fox-Fire, to harass overextending enemies especially melee champions. You can also use this skill to increase your movement speed and dodge enemy skill shots.
- Use your Orb of Deception and Fox-Fire to reduce the HP of your enemy champion and push your lane. If an enemy tries to fight back, use Charm to gain the opportunity to kill.
- Don’t spam Charm. If you miss this skill shot, the enemy champion will try to all-in on you.
- Once you’ve reached Level 5, look for an opportunity to kill your enemy laner or gank the side lanes using your ultimate. Every time your ultimate is available, always look for a kill. However, do not overextend your stay on side lanes. Instead, focus on pushing your lane for your team to gain an early-game advantage.
Late Game Tips
- During the mid and late game, focus on helping your teammates to pick off enemies one by one.
- Whenever your ultimate is available, use it to make plays and kill the enemy’s carry. Always target the low-HP enemy champions.
- If you’re playing behind, focus on assisting your team by dealing additional damage and landing your Charm on the enemy. Never go far from your tank or support especially when your ultimate skill is on cooldown.
