While Hu Tao is a Pyro character who uses a polearm weapon, and is currently one of the champions with the highest CRIT Damage in the game.

Here are few things you need to know about Tartagalia and Hu Tao:

Tartaglia – Childe
Tartaglia Genshin Impact

Tartaglia, also known by his alias “Childe”, is the Eleventh, of the Harbingers of the Fatui. Following danger wherever he goes, Childe is always eager for a challenge, making him extremely dangerous despite being the youngest member.

Amongst the rest of the Harbingers, Tartaglia is considered an oddball. While his fellow Harbingers prefer clandestine operations and staying behind the scenes, Tartaglia favors being front and center. Tartaglia dedicates himself to those he cares about wholeheartedly. He is unquestionably loyal to the Tsaritsa and holds her in high esteem, seeing himself as her weapon of war. He also cares deeply for his family; he sends money, gifts, and letters home often.

5-Star Hydro Character

Tartaglia/Childe is a great Hydro-DPS character. He delivers eliable massive DMG from Elemental Burst, and can quickly trigger multiple Vaporize Reactions. This allows him to work great with Pyro characters like Xiangling or Diluc. But what makes Tartaglia/Childe stand out from the rest is his ability to change from range to melee stance which offers flexibility against various enemies.

To maximize Tartaglia/Childe’s damage, use his unique debuff, Riptide, to enemies. Enemies marked with Riptide will take AoE Hydro DMG when hit by a fully charged Aim Shot, and will spread Riptide to other enemies if they are defeated.

Hu Tao – Fragrance in Thaw
Hu Tao - Genshin Impact

Hu Tao is the 77th Director of the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor, a person vital to managing Liyue’s funerary affairs. She does her utmost to flawlessly carry out a person’s last rites and preserve the world’s balance of yin and yang. Aside from this, she is also a talented poet whose many “masterpieces” have passed around Liyue’s populace by word of mouth.

Hu Tao accepts death as a natural part of life and tells others to enjoy their short lives, although she appears to be slightly eccentric in this regard by putting the success of her business first. She also loathes those who try to prolong their natural lifespan, such as Baizhu. She also appears to show a lack of interest in her Pyro Vision.

5-Star Pyro Character

Hu Tao is a great DPS or Sub-DPS addition to any team. She can deal large amounts of Pyro Damage with Elemental Skill, and works great with AoE characters like Ganyu, Mona, and Tartaglia. Hu Tao’s strengths lies in her High Base CRIT Damage, High Base HP and DEF. She also can provide CRIT Rate for her party members, which provides great support for your main DPS if you’re going to run Hu Tao as your Sub-DPS.

Hu Tao is best used in a party with 2 DPS characters. It’s because Hu Tao’s high damage output is reliant on her using her elemental skill. If that is unavailable, it’s recommended that you switch to a different DPS character.
