Genshin Impact, the latest action RPG from Mihoyo, features several characters for players to create or include in their party. Each character has their own Vision or element associated with their attacks and skills. They also have different rarity levels and belong to different tiers. And just as it is in gacha games, the higher the tier the characters are, the more powerful they are.

Below is a list of the 10 best Genshin Impact characters which we think are the most strongest in the game. We believe that these characters are the ones who should be praying for every time you make a wish in the game.

Diluc

Diluc is the wealthiest gentleman in all of Mondstadt. As the ever-dapper, Diluc always presents himself as the epitome of perfection. However, behind the courteous visage, there burns a zealous soul that has sworn to protect Mondstadt at all costs. With that, Diluc mercilessly vanquished all who threatened his city.

Skills Talents

Normal/Charged Attack – Tempered Sword

Tempered Sword
  • Normal Attack: Diluc performed up to 4 consecutive strikes.
  • Charged Attack: Diluc drains Stamina over time to perform continuous slashes. At the end of the sequence, he performs a more powerful slash.
  • Plunging Attack: Diluc plunges from mid-air to strike the ground, damaging enemies along the path and dealing AoE damage upon impact.

Elemental Skill – Searing Onslaught

Searing Onslaught

Diluc attacks with a forward slash that deals Pyro DMG. He can use this skill 3 times consecutively. The skill enters cooldown if the skill is not cast again within 5 seconds. 

Elemental Burst – Dawn

Dawn

Diluc releases intense flames to knock back nearby enemies, dealing Pyro damage. The flames then converge into the weapon, summoning a Phoenix that flies forward and deals massive Pyro damage to all enemies in its path. The Phoenix then explodes upon reaching its destination, causing a large amount of AoE Pyro damage.

The searing flames then run down Diluc’s blade which causes his normal and charged attacks to deal Pyro damage for a time.

1st Passive – Relentless

Diluc’s Charged Attack Stamina Cost is decreased by 50%, and its duration is increased by 3s.

2nd Passive – Blessing of Phoenix

Blessing of Phoenix

The Pyro Enchantment provided by Dawn lasts for 4s longer. Additionally. Diluc gains 20% Pyro damage Bonus during the duration of this effect.

3rd Passive – Tradition of the Dawn Knight

Venti

Venti is a bard that arrived on some unknown wind. He sometimes sings songs as old as the hills, and other times sings poems fresh and new. Venti likes apples and lively places, but is not a fan of cheese or anything sticky.

And when Venti uses his Anemo power to control the wind, it often appears as feathers, as he’s fond of that which appears light and breezy.

Normal/Charged Attack – Divine Marksmanship

  • Normal Attack: Venti performs up to 6 consecutive shots with a bow.
  • Charged Attack: Venti performs a more precise Aimed Shot with increased damage. While aiming, favorable winds will accumulate on the arrowhead. A fully charged wind arrow will deal Anemo damage.
  • Plunging Attack: Venti fires off a shower of arrows in mid-air before falling and striking the ground, dealing AoE damage upon impact.

Elemental Skill – Skyward Sonnet

Skyward Sonnet

Press: Venti summons a Wind Domain at the enemy’s location, dealing AoE Anemo damage and launching enemies into the air.

Hold:  Venti summons an even larger Wind Domain with Venti as the epicenter, dealing AoE Anemo damage  and launching affected enemies into the air. After unleashing the Hold version of this ability, Venti rides the wind into the air. Enemies hit by Skyward Sonnet will fall to the ground slowly.

Elemental Burst – Wind’s Grand Ode

Venti fires off an arrow made of countless coalesced winds, creating a huge Stormeye that sucks in objects and enemies along its path, dealing continuous Anemo damage.

Elemental Absorption: If the Stormeye comes into contact with any Hydro/Pyro/Cryo/Electro elements, it will deal additional elemental DMG of that type. Elemental Absorption may only occur once per use.

Venti holding Skyward Sonnet creates an upcurrent that lasts for 20s.

3rd Passive – Windrider

Windrider

Decreases gliding Stamina Consumption of your characters in the party by 20%. Not stackable with Passive Talents that provide the exact same effects.


Fischl

Fischl is a mysterious girl who calls herself the Prinzessin der Verurteilung, and travels with a night raven named Oz. She currently serves as an investigator in the Adventurers’ Guild. Thanks to her unique abilities, eccentric character, and hard work, Fischl has become a rising star among the Adventurers’ Guild’s investigators, earning the recognition of all.

Normal/Charged Attack – Bolts of Downfall

Bolts of Downfall
  • Normal Attack: Fischl performs up to 5 consecutive shots with a bow.
  • Charged Attack: Fischl performs a more precise Aimed Shot with increased DMG. While aiming, the dark lightning spirits of Immernachtreich shall heed the call of their Prinzessin and indwell the enchanted arrowhead. When fully indwelt, the Rachsüchtig Blitz shall deal immense Electro DMG.
  • Plunging Attack: Fischl fires off a shower of arrows in mid-air before falling and striking the ground, dealing AoE DMG upon impact.

Elemental Skill- Nightrider

Nightrider

Fischl summons Oz. The night raven forged of darkness and lightning then descends upon the land, dealing Electro damage in a small AoE. For the ability’s duration, Oz will continuously attack nearby enemies with Freikugel.

Elemental Burst – Midnight Phantasmagoria

Midnight Phantasmagoria

Fischl summons Oz to spread his twin wings of twilight and defend her. Has the following properties during the ability’s duration:

  • Fischl takes on Oz’s form, greatly increasing her Movement Speed.
  • Fischl strikes nearby enemies with lightning, dealing Electro damage to enemies she comes in contact with. Each enemy can only be struck once.
  • Once this ability’s effects end, Oz will remain on the battlefield and attack his Prinzessin’s foes. If Oz is already on the field, then this will reset the duration of his presence

When Fischl hits Oz with a fully-charged Aimed Shot, Oz brings down Thundering Retribution, dealing AoE Electro damage equal to 152.7% of the arrow’s damage.

If your active character triggers an Electro-related Elemental Reaction when Oz is on the field, the enemy shall be stricken with Thundering Retribution, dealing Electro damage equal to 80% of Fischl’s Attack.

Keqing

Keqing is the Yuheng of the Liyue Qixing. She has so much to say about the  Rex Lapis’ unilateral approach to policy making in Liyue. But in truth, the gods admire skeptics such as her quite a lot.

Keqing believes that humanity’s future should be determined by humans themselves. And that humans can even do better than the archons and adepti have done for them.In order to prove this, Keqing works harder than anyone else.

Normal/Charged Attack – Yunlai Swordsmanship

  • Normal Attack: Keqing performs up to 5 rapid strikes.
  • Charged Attack: Keqing consumes a certain amount of her Stamina to unleash 2 rapid sword strikes.
  • Plunging Attack: Keqing plunges from mid-air to strike the ground below, damaging enemies along the path and dealing AoE damage upon impact.

Elemental Skill – Stellar Restoration

Keqing hurls a Lightning Stiletto that annihilates her enemies like the swift thunder. When the Stiletto hits its target, it deals Electro damage to enemies in a small AoE, and places a Stiletto Mark on the spot hit.

Hold: Hold to adjust the direction in which the Stiletto shall be thrown. Stilettos thrown by the Hold attack mode can be suspended in mid-air, allowing Keqing to jump to them when using Stellar Restoration a second time.

Lightning Stiletto: If Keqing uses Stellar Restoration again or uses a Charged Attack while its duration lasts, it will clear the Stiletto Mark and produce different effects:

  • If she uses Stellar Restoration again, she will blink to the location of the Mark and unleash one slashing attack that deals AoE Electro damage. When blinking to a Stiletto that was thrown from a Holding attack, Keqing can leap across obstructing terrain.
  • If Keqing uses a Charged Attack, she will ignite a series of thundering cuts at the Mark’s location, dealing AoE Electro damage.

Elemental Burst – Starward Sword

Keqing unleashes the power of lightning, dealing Electro damage in an AoE.

She then blends into the shadow of her blade, striking a series of thunderclap-blows to nearby enemies simultaneously that deal multiple instances of Electro damage. The final attack deals massive AoE Electro damage.

Within 5 seconds of recasting Stellar Restoration while a Lightning Stiletto is present, Keqing’s Normal and Charged Attacks are converted to Electro damage.

When casting Starward Sword, Keqing’s critical rate is increased by 15%, and her Energy Recharge is increased by 15%. This effect lasts for 8 seconds.

Klee

Klee is the Spark Knight of the  Knights of Favonius. She always brings a bang and a flash, and then disappears from the stern gaze of Acting Grand Master Jean. Klee mostly spends her time in solitary confinement to think about new gunpowder formulas. But she prefers better not to be in solitary in the first place.

Normal/Charged Attack – Kaboom!

  • Normal Attack: Klee throws things that go boom when they hit things! Perform up to 3 explosive attacks, dealing AoE Pyro damage.
  • Charged Attack: Klee consumes a certain amount of Stamina and deals AoE Pyro damage to enemies after a short casting time.
  • Plunging Attack: Klee gathers the power of Pyro, Klee plunges towards the ground from mid-air, damaging all enemies in her path. Deals AoE Pyro damage upon impact with the ground.

Elemental Skill – Jumpy Dumpty

When thrown, Jumpy Dumpty bounces thrice, igniting and dealing AoE pyro damage with every bounce.

On the third bounce, the bomb splits into many mines. The mines will explode upon contact with enemies, or after a short period of time, dealing AoE Pyro damage.

Klee’s Blazing Delight! For the duration of this ability, continuously summons Sparks ‘n’ Splash to attack nearby enemies, dealing AoE Pyro damage.

Qiqi

Qiqi is an apprentice and herb gatherer at Bubu Pharmacy. She is blessed by the adepti with a body that cannot die. This petite zombie cannot do anything without first giving herself orders to do it.

Qiqi’s memory is like a sieve. So out of necessity, she always carries around a notebook in which she writes anything important so she doesn’t forget. But on her worst days, she even forgets to look at her notebook.

Displays the location of nearby resources unique to Liyue on the mini-map.


Xiao

Xiao is one of the “Mighty and Illuminated Adepti” and is heralded as the Guardian Yaksha of Liyue. Despite his appearance as a young man, he has occasional legends about him that have been documented in ancient books for thousands of years.

Xiao is especially fond of Wangshu Inn’s Almond Tofu. The reason is that the dish tastes just like the dreams he used to devour.

Xiao takes on the form of the yaksha that terrified both demons and archons alike millennia ago. For its duration, it increases Xiao’s attack range and damage, while converting damage type to Anemo and enhancing Xiao’s Jumping Ability. Maintaining this form continuously drains Xiao’s HP.

Starting Bane of All Evil increases Xiao’s damage by 5%. After this, Xiao’s damage continues to increase by 5% every 3 seconds until the skill ends. Its max 25% increase.

Jean is the Acting Grand Master of the Knights. She has always been devoted to her duties and maintaining peace in Mondstadt. Jean had taken precautions long before the onset of Stormterror’s assault, and she will guard Mondstadt with her life as always.

  • Normal Attack: Jean performs up to 5 consecutive strikes.

Focusing the might of the formless wind around her blade, Jean releases a miniature storm, launching enemies in the direction she aims at, dealing massive Anemo damage.

Hold: At the cost of continued stamina consumption, Jean can command the whirlwind to pull surrounding enemies towards her front.

Elemental Burst – Dandelion Breeze

Calling upon the wind’s protection, Jean creates a swirling Dandelion Field, launching surrounding enemies and causing Anemo damage. At the same time, she instantly regenerates a large amount of HP for nearby allied units and all party members. HP restored scale off Jean’s Attack.

Dandelion Field: Continuously regenerates HP for one ally and imbues them with the Anemo attributes. Deals Anemo damage to enemies entering or exiting the field.

Hits by Jean’s Normal Attacks have a 50% chance to regenerate HP equal to 15% of Jean’s Attack for all party members.

Xialing is the Head Chef at the Wanmin Restaurant. She is extremely passionate about cooking and excels at her signature hot and spicy dishes. Although still young, Xiangling is a true master of the culinary arts with all the skills of a kitchen veteran. She enjoys a good reputation among the hearty eaters at Chihu Rock. So there’s absolutely no need for you to be nervous if she wants you to sample her latest dish, because for sure, it will not disappoint.

  • Normal Attack: Xialing performs up to five consecutive spear strikes.

Xialing summons Guoba the Panda. Guoba continuously breathes fire at the enemy, dealing AoE Pyro damage.

Mona is a  mysterious young astrologer who proclaims herself to be “Astrologist Mona Megistus,” and who possesses abilities to match the title. Erudite, but prideful.

Although she is often strapped for cash and lives a life of thrift, Mona is resolved to never use astrology for profit. It is this very resolution that has caused her to constantly fret about money.

Normal/Charged Attack – Ripple of Fate

Mona - Ripple of Fate
  • Normal Attack: Mona performs up to 5 water splash attacks that deal Hydro damage.
  • Charged Attack: Mona consumes a certain amount of Stamina to deal AoE Hydro damage after a short casting time.
  • Plunging Attack: Mona gathers the might of Hydro then plunges towards the ground from mid-air, damaging all enemies in her path. It deals AoE Hydro damage upon impact with the ground.

Elemental Skill – Mirror Reflection of Doom

Mona - Mirror Reflection of Doom

Mona creates an illusory Phantom of fate from coalesced waterspouts. The Phantom has the following special properties:

  • Continuously taunts nearby enemies, attracting their fire.
  • Continuously deals Hydro damage to nearby enemies.
  • When its duration expires, the Phantom explodes, dealing AoE Hydro damage.

Hold: Utilizes water currents to move backwards swiftly before conjuring a Phantom Only one Phantom created by Mirror Reflection of Doom can exist at any time.

Elemental Burst – Stellaris Phantasm

Mona - Stellaris Phantasm

Mona summons the sparkling waves and creates a reflection of the starry sky, applying the Illusory Bubble status to the opponents in a large AoE.

Illusory Bubble: Traps opponents inside a pocket of destiny and also makes them Wet. Renders weaker opponents immobile. When an opponent affected by Illusory Bubble sustains DMG, the following effects are produces:

  • Applies an Omen to the opponent, which gives a DMG Bonus, also increasing the DMG of the attack that causes it.
  • Removes the Illusory Bubble, dealing Hydro Elemental DMG in the process. The DMG Bonus does not apply to the Hydro Elemental DMG dealt in this instance.

Omen: During its duration, increases DMG taken by enemies.

Passive Skills

1st Passive – Come ‘n’ Get Me, Hag!

Mona - Come n Get Me Hag

After she has used Illusory Torrent for 2 seconds, if there are any enemies nearby, Mona will automatically create a Phantom.

A Phantom created in this manner lasts for 2 seconds, and its explosion damage is equal to 50% of Mirror Reflection of Doom.

2nd Passive – Waterborne Destiny

Mona - Waterborne Destiny

Increases Mona’s Hydro Damage Bonus by a degree equivalent to 20% of her Energy Recharge rate.

3rd Passive – Principium of Astrology

Mona - Principium of Astrology

When Mona crafts Weapon Ascension Materials, she has a 25% chance to refund a portion of the crafting materials used.
