Wild Rift Alpha Test Coming this June 2020

Riot Games confirmed that the Philippines and Brazil are the first two countries chosen to participate in the Wild Rift Alpha Test. League of Legends: Wild Rift is the upcoming League of Legends mobile version game.

Starting June 6 to June 27, selected players in the Philippines and Brazil will be able to play Wild Rift. However, this Limited Alpha Test will be limited to players with Android phones alone. The Alpha Test will gather feedback from the players on Wild Rift’s gameplay to see if it lives up to the gaming experience players get on the League of Legends PC version. The alpha version will also be testing the game’s playability to general mobile gamers, including its progression system, infrastructure, and service stability.

Eligible players for Wild Rift Alpha Test will be receiving invites on June 6. However, from June 6 to 8, the game servers will only be available for play from 6PM to 8PM. If ever you didn’t receive an invite on June 6, don’t worry, because Riot Games confirmed that they’ll be sending more invites as the Alpha Testing progresses.

Further Notes

On June 3, some Android users found a test link on the Google Play Store. But those who tried to install the game on their devices found themselves in an error page. The developers noted that for those who did this, you might need to pre-register for the game again as the button allows users to opt into a non-existent Early Access test.

Some users also reported that they got notifications that show that the game is available. Riot already warned users that the game is not out yet and that users should not download anything from unknown sources.

Riot Games made it clear that players who will be able to play the Wild Rift Alpha Test can record the gameplay or talk about the game online as there is no NDA. Players should also take note that any progression in-game will not be carried over to launch to make things fair to all the players.

Developers also encourage game testers to report any bugs or glitches directly on Google Play Store or on Wild Rift’s official website.
