Rocksteady Studios finally reveals their upcoming video game, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, with a scheduled release date in 2022. The developer reveals the first trailer of the game, which features Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang, and Kingshark.

Suicide Squad Storyline
As the trailer implies, the game focuses on the Suicide Squad’s mission to take down Superman, who apparently has become evil. According to the developers, the plot of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League closely follows the storyline of DC’s Suicide Squad comic books. The comic book series follows the stories of DC supervillains. They are contracted by the government to carry out stealthy missions in exchange for a full pardon.
In the game, it seems that the government made a deal with Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang, and Kingshark to kill the Justice League. Apparently, the superheroes have suddenly become evil because of Brainiac.
Suicide Squad Gameplay
According to the developers, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League’s gameplay will include their superhero, supervillain empowerment found in the Arkham games. The game takes place in an open-world Metropolis. Each of the playable characters will have their own unique skill set. They will also feature enhanced traversal abilities for them to explore the game’s dynamic open-world. The supervillains will also get a variety of weapons they can customize and skills to master to bring down the Justice League.
Rocksteady Studios also confirmed that Suicide Squad will feature a 1 to 4 player experience. Players can play it alone with bots filling in the role of the other three characters. They can also team up with three of their friends to play the game as a full, four-player squad.
Players can jump in anytime in the game. So you can start playing as a single-player, and let your friends join you anytime you want.

Rocksteady Studio first teased the game earlier this month by posting a tweet with a poster art banner. It showed the silhouette of Superman with the title “Suicide Squad” arranged as a crosshair over his head. This led fans to assume that the new game will indeed feature the Task X Force as they go out on a mission to kill the Justice League.
Suicide Squad Release Date
