Riot Games teased a new character for League of Legends in a champion trailer released this Friday morning. Her name is Nilah, and she has the ability to wield a water whip.
In her champion trailer, it seems she can draw power from the orb on her hip. She uses this magical water whip to take down her opponents by weaving through them with tons of dashes.

The clip also showcases some of Nilah’s moves, including her gaining unspecified immunity that allows her to avoid Twisted Fate’s yellow card stun. Nilah also seems capable of executing several dashes, making it hard for enemies to run.
The trailer also shows a set of demon hands swirling from the waters and giving Nilah a high five. It seems that she’s obviously on good terms with these demons, which helps her defeat her enemies. However, it is unknown how these demons tie into her storyline.
Fans will likely see a more detailed explanation of Nilah’s skill kit.
According to Polygon, her full release should follow by two weeks, as long as everything goes well on the PBE.
League of Legends has just added a new champion, Bel’veth. Her character was released on June 9, about three weeks after she was revealed.
