Genshin Impact has released Sangonomiya Kokomi teaser titled “The Ocean’s Will.” She is a 5-star Hydro, catalyst user who is the Divine Priestess of Watatsumi Island. Despite her delicate appearance, she is the leader of the Sangonomiya resistance. In game, Sangonomiya Kokomi is a support character with excellent healing capabilities.

Sangonomiya Kokomi Teaser – “The Ocean’s Will”
As the heir to the Sangonomiya line, she bears the responsibility of heeding the wishes of Watatsumi Island’s people.

Sangonomiya Kokomi – Pearl of Wisdom
Despite her delicate appearance, she is the leader of the Sangonomiya resistance. She is a wise and resourceful military advisor. Although she always wears a very serene smile, she actually has everything arranged and in her grasp. She is the brains of the forces.
Having read many military treatises from all over Teyvat since she was a child, Kokomi has a talent for strategy and is capable of outwitting opponents through clever stratagems. Although Watatsumi Island lacks manpower and materiel, its people have managed to turn the tide of battle many times thanks to Kokomi’s tactical prowess. Whether in battle, trade, diplomacy, or internal affairs, Kokomi will do her best. Her achievements have won her the respect of Watatsumi Island’s various factions.
Sangonomiya Kokomi – 5-Star Hydro Catalyst User
Sangonomiya Kokomi is a support character with excellent healing capabilities.
Her Elemental Skill, Bake-Kurage, provides sustained healing to nearby party members while dealing Hydro Damage to enemies within its AoE.
When Sangonomiya Kokomi activates her Elemental Burst and enters her Ceremonial Garment state, her Normal Attack, Charged Attack, and Bake-Kurage Damage are increased based on her Max HP. When her Normal and Charge Attacks hit opponents, Kokomi will heal all nearby party members.
Sangonomiya Kokomi Talents
The Shape of Water – Normal Attack
- Normal Attack: Performs up to 3 consecutive attacks that take the form of swimming fish, dealing Hydro Damage.
- Charged Attack: Consumes a certain amount of Stamina to deal AoE Hydro Damage after a short casting time.
Kurage’s Oath – Elemental Skill
- Summons a “Bake-Kurage” created from water that can heal her allies. Using this skill will apply the Wet status to Sangonomiya Kokomi.
- Bake-Kurage: Deals Hydro DMG to surrounding opponents and heal nearby active characters at fixed intervals. This healing is based on Kokomi’s Max HP.
Nereid’s Ascension – Elemental Burst
- Summons the might of Watatsumi dealing Hydro DMG to surrounding enemies, before robing Kokomi in a Ceremonial Garment made from the flowing waters of Sangonomiya.
- Ceremonial Garment
- Sangonomiya Kokomi’s Normal Attack, Charged Attack and Bake-Kurage DMG are increased based on her Max HP.
- When her Normal and Charged Attacks hit opponents, Kokomi will restore HP for all nearby party members, and the amount restored is based on her Max HP.
- Increases Sangonomiya Kokomi’s resistance to interruption and allows her to move on the water’s surface.
- These effects will be cleared once Sangonomiya Kokomi leaves the field.
Sangonomiya Kokomi Release Date
Sangonomiya Kokomi has a release date set on September 21, 2021 06:00:00 PM UTC+8. Her banner is titled “Drifting Luminescence.” Her banner will run until October 12, 2021 02:59:59 PM UTC+8. In the beta game, Sangonomiya Kokomi is a Hydro, catalyst-user. Additonally, according to the Version 2.1 Special Program, Kokomi’s base CRIT Rate is -100% (negative), but she has increased Healing Bonus.
