Genshin Impact New Diluc and Fischl Outfits

HoYoverse have released a new trailer for Genshin Impact, showing off the new outfits for Diluc and Fischl.

The upcoming 2.8 Summer Fantasia update will be adding Diluc – Red Dead of Night and Fischl – Ein Immernachtstraum. As with previous alternate costume sets, one will be a premium purchase while the other will be free.

You can check out both outfit in the trailer below:

Diluc – Red Dead of Night
Genshin Impact Diluc - Red Dead of Night

Diluc’s new outfit gives the Pyro Claymore a new look with his hair up in a ponytail — a highly requested look from the Genshin community. The new outfit is also redder than his usual look. It will also be the first outfit in the game to have new idle animations and effects that actually change how his Pyro abilities look in battle. This new effect will give Diluc’s usual bright orange flames a much darker and redder hue during gameplay.

This new outfit for Diluc is called “Red Dead of the Night.” It is described in-game as “one of the outfits he wears during covert actions. It resembles a flame dancing in the shadow. The crimson red traces it leaves behind at the edges of the enemy’s visions will scar their nightmare forever.”

If it follows the pattern set by past five-star character costumes, it will be 1,350 Genesis Crystals initially. After a set period of the time, five-star character costumes end up costing 1,680. However, since this new outfit includes new animations and effects, there are rumors that it’s going to costs more than the usual prices. It is said to cost around 1980 to 2480 Genesis Crystals.

Fischl – Ein Immernachtstraum

Fischl’s outfit is expected to be free to all players upon completing the Resonating Visions event in the next update. Similar to Barbara’s outfit, you will have to search for conches in the Golden Archipelago to gain Fischl’s outfit as a reward. However, after the event, it is expected that this outfit will be sold in the Character Outfit Shop.

Fischl’s new outfit called “Ein Immernachtstraum” has a more purple-toned than her regular one. She also receives eye color change since her one visible eye is usually green but is now red. It is described as “a ceremonial outfit for the Prinzessin. May she who is noble retain her courage, sincerity, and kindness forever, such that no evil shall ever overcome her.”

New Genshin Impact outfits aren’t uncommon. When they appear, there tends to be one for a four-star character that can be earned and a paid one for a five-star character. The first set are the Barbara and Jean summer costumes released in June 2021. They were then followed by Ningguang and Keqing outfits in December 2021. There are also free alternate appearances for Amber, Jean, Mona, and Rosaria.

Genshin Impact is available and free-to-play on Windows PC via Epic Games Store and official website. Diluc and Fischl’s new outfits will arrive with Genshin Impact 2.8 – Summer Fantasia update on July 13, 2022.
