Genshin Impact has finally released the content of its upcoming update Version 2.2 called “Into the Perilous Labyrinth of Fog.” Genshin Impact Version 2.2 will introduce the new 4-star character Thoma, 4 new weapons, new events, a new island in Inazuma, and many more.

NEW CHARACTER
Thoma – Protector from Afar
Thoma, who was born in Mondstadt, now lives in Inazuma, where he is the Kamisato Clan’s housekeeper. He’s also a well-known “fixer” in Inazuma. Perhaps influenced by the relaxed and happy atmosphere of his hometown, Thoma is very good at socializing. Although he is an outlander, he has built an unexpectedly powerful network of people in Inazuma.

CHARACTER EVENT WISH
Tartaglia – Farewell of Snezhnaya
During this event wish – “Farewell of Snezhnaya”, the event-exclusive 5-star character “Childe” Tartaglia will receive a huge drop-rate boost!
Tartaglia, also known by his alias “Childe”, is a playable Hydro character. He is the most recent, the Eleventh, of the Harbingers of the Fatui. Following danger wherever he goes, Childe is always eager for a challenge, making him extremely dangerous despite being the youngest member.
Hu Tao – Moment of Bloom
During this event wish – “Moment of Bloom”, the event-exclusive 5-star character “Fragrance in Thaw” Hu Tao and 4-star character “Protector from Afar” Hu Tao will receive a huge drop-rate boost!
Hu Tao is a playable Pyro character. She is the 77th Director of the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor, a person vital to managing Liyue’s funerary affairs. She does her utmost to flawlessly carry out a person’s last rites and preserve the world’s balance of yin and yang.

NEW WEAPONS
Genshin Impact 2.2 will be releasing five new weapons:
- Polar Star – A pristine bow that is as sharp as the glaciers of the far north. This is a 5-star bow weapon.
- Wavebreaker’s Fin – A naginata forged from luminscent material deep in the ocean depths. It was once the possession of the tengu race. This is a 4-star polearm weapon.
- Akuoumaru – The beloved sword of the legendary “Akuou.” The blade is huge and majestic, but is surprisingly easy to wield. This is a 4-star claymore.
- Mouun’s Moon – A lovely warbow made from seashells and coral. A mournful brilliance flows along its moonlight-colored arms. This is a 4-star bow weapon.
HANGOUT EVENTS: SERIES III
Genshin Impact 2.2 will be introducing two new Hangout Series including:
- Yoohoo Art: Seichou no Jutsu – is the first act of Sayu’s Hangout Event. It will be released with Version 2.2.
- A Housekeeper’s Daily Chores – is the first act of Thoma’s Hangout Event. It will be released with Version 2.2.

Labyrinth Warriors
The great gates of the bizarre and unpredictable Mystic Onmyou Chamber imprison fierce monsters within them.
Venture deep into this Domain by yourself and conquer the many perils within, assisting Shiki Taishou to retrieve the fragments of his memories, and you will be able to explore the past that has been sealed within the Domain — and obtain its various treasures in the meantime.

Tuned to the World’s Sounds
With the end of the incident in Inazuma, Kazuha follows The Crux and returns to Liyue.

Details:
Use the instrument Floral Zither gifted by Kazuha to play a melody with other characters.
Performance will be split into Normal, Hard, and Pro difficulties. Normal difficulty is unlocked by default and subsequent difficulty levels can be unlocked by completing the previous difficulty with at least a “Euphonia” rating.
Long notes have been introduced as a new mechanic to this event. The player will need to press and hold down the note until the light strip disappears to score.

Dreams of Bloom

Dreambloom flowers can be gifted to friends so that all of the colors can be collected more easily. Players may also create a Wishlist for Dreamblooms they require. The Dreambloom seeds will expire after the event ends.

Ley Line Overflow

New Realm Layout – “Silken Courtyard”
Silken Courtyard is a realm layout in the Serenitea Pot system. The Realm Layout becomes available after reaching Sacred Sakura’s Favor Level 40.
