Genshin Impact 2.1 is coming to the game on September 1, 2021, titled “Floating World Under the Moonlight.” Alongside new events and new in-game features, three new playable characters are coming to Inazuma which include the Electro Archon – Raiden Shogun, the Divine Priestess of Watatsumi Island – Sangonomiya Kokomi, and the General of Tenryou Commission – Kujou Sara.

Raiden Shogun

Her Excellency, the Almighty Narukami Ogosho, who promised the people of Inazuma an unchanging Eternity.
Raiden Shogun is the vessel of Baal, the Electro Archon of Inazuma, and one of the Sevens. The Shogun is a suppressive ruler that drove away the spirits of Inazuma into the forests. For this purpose, she initiated the Vision Hunt Decree to seize most, if not all Visions in her domain and give them to a statue of the Thousand-Armed, Hundred-Eyed God.

Transcendence: Baleful Omen – Elemental Skill
Deals Electro DMG to nearby enemies, and will grant each nearby party member an Eye of Stormy Judgment.
Eye of Stormy Judgment
Performs coordinated attacks alongside the active character, dealing AoE Electro DMG, as well as increasing the active character’s Elemental Burst DMG.
Secret Art: Musou Shinsetsu – Elemental Burst
Unleashes the Musou no Hitotachi, causing her to draw her sword and perform attacks with her tachi for a certain duration. This is called the Muosu Isshin state.
Musou Isshin
All of the Raiden Shogun’s Normal, Charged, and Plunging Attacks will be converted to Electro DMG that cannot be overriden by any other elemental infusion.
When the Raiden Shogun’s attacks hit an opponent, she will recharge Energy for all of her teammates, and she will be immune to the effects of Electro-Charged while also having increased resistance to interruption.
The Raiden Shogun’s Normal, Charged, and Plunging Attack DMG will be considered Elemental Burst DMG.

The first Genshin Impact 2.1 banner – Reign of Serenity will feature Raiden Shogun and Kujou Sara, and will release alongside the 2.1 update on September 1, 2021. The banner will run until September 21, 2021.

Sangonomiya Kokomi is the Divine Priestess of Watatsumi Island and the leader of the Sangonomiya Resistance. Many believe her to be an enigmatic, shrewd leader. However, she always has a quiet smile on her face, and while she gets things done in an orderly fashion, she will sometimes do so over laughter and light conversation.

Kurage’s Oath – Elemental Skill
She summons a jellyfish-like illusion called a Bake-Kurage. This illusion will remain on the battlefield and continuously restore HP for the active character, while attacking nearby enemies, dealing Hydro damage.
Nereid’s Ascension – Elemental Burst
Deals Hydro AoE damage to nearby enemies and causes her to don her Ceremonial Garment, which increases the damage dealt by her Normal and Charged Attacks as well as her Bake-Kurage.
Sangonomiya Kokomi – Release Date
The second Genshin Impact 2.1 banner – Drifting Luminescence will feature Sangonomiya Kokomi, and will be released alongside Genshin Impact Version 2.1 – Part 2 Update. It will run from September 21, 2021 until October 12, 2021.
During this event wish, the event-exclusive 5-star character Pearl of Wisdom – “Sangonomiya Kokomi” (Hydro) will receive a huge drop-rate boost!
Kujou Sara

A general of the Tenryou Commission. Bold, decisive, and skilled in battle.
Kujou Sara is a member and adopted daughter of the Kujou Clan, who serves Baal. She supports her Vision Hunt Decree and leads troops to seize Visions. Kujou Sara is also described as a “tengu warrior” with “wings as dark as a raven”. Not much is yet known about her, except that she serves under Baal as both an aide and a body-guard, helping the God of Eternity in her vision hunt decree.
Kujou Sara – Talents
Tengu Stormcall – Elemental Skill
Allows her to backdash and gain Crowfeather Cover. When Kujou Sara charges her bow, she consumes Crowfeather Cover. The arrow fired will leave a Crowfeather behind that will trigger Tengu Juurai: Ambush, which deals AoE Electro DMG and also increases the ATK of nearby characters.
Subjugation: Koukou Sendou – Elemental Burst
Kujou Sara will strike a target area with Tengu Juurai: Titanbreaker, dealing AoE Electro DMG and leaving a number of Tengu Juurai: Stormcluster, which then spread out, dealing more instances of AoE Electro DMG. These Tengu Juurai will also provide an Attack Bonus.
