Epic Games finally reveals Fortnite Marvel Crossover characters as a part of its Chapter 2 – Season 4 event. The crossover event brings the Marvel universe to the game, including its superheroes, villains, character skins, weapons, and new challenges.
Marvel Characters
The Marvel Crossover brings the new season called Nexus War, featuring the arrival of a new set of Marvel characters to fight against Galactus as he threatens to devour the world. And the following Marvel characters that you can unlock in the Battle Pass includes:
- Iron Man
- Thor
- Groot
- She-Hulk
- Storm
- Mystique
- Wolverine
- Doctor Doom
Each one of these Marvel characters has their own unique quest where you can unlock a built-in Emote related to the new Marvel characters. According to Epic Games, the Battle Pass will feature 100 unlockable rewards, including plenty of Marvel-related items. There will also be Marvel-themed superpowers. Players can unlock these powers by using Silver Surfer’s Board, Doom’s Arcane Gauntlets, and Groot’s Bramble Shield. New items will also be featured in the Nexus War, including the Stark Industries Energy Rifle.

Nexus War will also add new locations in the game with a Marvel twist. The following locations include:
- Coral Castle
- Doom’s Domain
- Craggy Cliffs
- Steamy Shacks
- Sweaty Sands
- Salty Springs
- The Authority
- Frenzy Farm
- Dirty Docks
- Holly Hedges
- Weeping Woods
- Lazy Lake

Comic Pages
Leading up to the new season, Fortnite released a series of comic pages that tell how Thor and Galactus would factor into the Fortnite universe. You can read the comic in Fortnite.
The comic begins the story of Thor as the King of Asgard and the new Herald of Thunder. This makes him the latest herald of Galactus, a position that was previously held by Silver Surfer. Galactus warned Thor about the coming of the Black Winter, which will cause the death of all things. To fight it back, Galactus must devour the existence of five planets. After entering a Rift, he arrives in Fortnite, where Thor begins to warn the Fortnite characters about Galactus’ plan.

This isn’t the first time Fortnite had a crossover with the Marvel universe. The first one happened in 2018 called Avengers: Infinity War, and then was later followed with the Avengers: Endgame crossover.
