Riot has finally revealed Valorant Act 2, which will begin on August 4, 2020. The update will bring a new Battle Pass, a Free-for-All Deathmatch mode, a new agent, and a new Glitch Pop Skinline.
According to the developers, Valorant Act 2 Battlepass will feature new unique unlockables, which include gun skins, gun buddies, sprays, player cards, player titles, and Radianite Points. The Battle Pass is available for only 1000 VP.
Free-for-All Deathmatch
Aside from the Battle Pass, a Free-for-All Deathmatch mode will also launch in Beta form and will be available starting on August 5. This new battle mode will pit 10 players battling for dominance with no abilities and Spike, but with infinite money.
A player can win with 30 kills or if they have the most kills after the first 6 minutes. All weapons and armors will be available at the start of the game. If a player dies, he will respawn within 3 seconds and will start with 8 seconds of invulnerability to allow them to change weapons. If they move or fire, the invulnerability immediately ends.
Health packs will also be available in this mode. It will be dropped after an enemy is killed. A UAV will also reveal the current location of enemies every 5 seconds. There will also be Kill Banners for those who can achieve continuous multiple kills.
GlitchPop Skin Line
A new skin line will also be released called Glitch Pop. It is described as costumes that are inspired by a dystopian future where death has no consequence. It features bright and colorful skins with a playful but deadly attitude. These skins will be available for selected agents, including Frenzy, Bulldog, Judge, and Odin. There will also be a Glitch Pop melee weapon as well.
New Agent – Killjoy
A new agent will also be added to its roster. She is a wunderkind named Killjoy, who has the ability to use a variety of robots and gadgets to gain the upper hand. She will also become a playable agent on August 4.
