Ubisoft Confirms Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Release Date

Ubisoft has finally confirmed the release date for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. It will be released for Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC on November 17, 2020.

The gameplay footage of Valhalla was shown last weekend during the Ubisoft Forward event. The footage showed female Eivor raiding down the English rivers with a warhorn to set her crew on English village defenses. As explained by the developers, crews will assist on raids and will be able to use siege weapons as well as carry heavy loots.

Valhalla is will also feature more enemy types than any of the previous games in the Assassin’s Creed series. Some enemies can actually work in tandem and also use objects around their environment to attack you, including a dead body.

The footage featured Valhalla’s settlement system as well, which includes its Alliance Map. As stated before, Valhalla will allow the players to create alliances in the game. The Alliance Map will show the alliances the players made across Britain.

Aside from the gender-switch feature and the settlement system, there is also a weapon and stealth overview. The weapon overview gave us a way players can use dual wielding on any weapons available. While the stealth overview gives us a sneak peek on how players can actually use disguises in the game.

Kirby titled Assassin’s Creed Valhalla – Geirmund’s Saga. It tells the epic tale of Geirmund Hellskin, a Viking warrior determined to prove his worth by joining the ranks of King Guthrum’s army to participate in the invasion of England.

There is also a Dark Horse Comics series with a title Assassin’s Creed Valhalla – Song of Glory. It is written by Cavan Scott, illustrated by Martin Tunica and colored by Michael Atiyeh. The comics tell the prequel story of the fearless Vikings Eivor and Sigurd as they embark on separate adventures to seek glory.
