Riot has revealed their new champion for League of Legends. His name is Yone, an azakana-hybrid from the Spirit Realm, who was once Yasuo’s half-brother. He now hunts demonic creatures in the mortal realm, trying to understand the being he has become.

Lore
In life, Yone was the half-brother of Yasuo and a renowned student of his village’s sword school. But upon his death at his brother’s hands, he found himself hunted by a malevolent entity of the spirit realm. Yone managed to slay it with his own sword, but the consequences were severe. Now, Yone was cursed to wear its demonic mask upon his face, tirelessly hunting all such creatures to understand what he has become.
Abilities
Passive – Way of the Hunter
Yone uses his two blades, with each second attack dealing more magic damage. His critical strike chance also doubles, but its strikes deal reduced damage.
Q – Mortal Steel
Yone thrust forward to his opponent, dealing physical damage. On a hit, he gains a stack of Gathering Storm. At two stacks, Yone can dash forward with a wave that makes enemies airborne.
W – Spirit Cleave
Yone cleaves forward in a massive arc, which deals a portion of the target’s maximum health. After successfully hitting his enemy, Yone also gains a temporary shield. The shield’s power increases per champion struck.
E – Soul Unbound
Yone enters his Spirit Form, gaining movement speed while leaving his body behind. When Yone’s Spirit Form expires, he will snap back into his body and deal a percentage of all the damage he dealt with while in Spirit Form.
R – Fate Sealed
Yone’s ultimate skill allows him to strike all enemies in his path, blinking behind the last enemy hit. This knocks every enemy airborne towards him.

After defeating a powerful azakana in the Spirit Realm, Yone woke up with a blood-red sword. Upon his head was a mask that coalesced in the form of the azakana’s face. He could not remove it, but he could now see other azakana through its eyes.
Now, Yone hunts these insidious creatures in an attempt to understand what he has become.
