Horizon Zero Dawn PC System Requirements Guide

Guerilla Games has revealed the system requirements for Horizon Zero Dawn PC port ahead of the game’s launch next week.

The System Requirement was posted on the Horizon Zero Dawn PC Steam page, where players can get to see the minimum and recommended specifications necessary to play the game.

  • Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
  • OS: Windows 10 64-bits
  • Processor: Intel Core i5-2500K@3.3GHz or AMD FX 6300@3.5GHz
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM
  • Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 780 (3 GB) or AMD Radeon R9 290 (4GB)
  • DirectX: Version 12
  • Storage: 100 GB available space

  • Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
  • OS: Windows 10 64-bits
  • Processor: Intel Core i7-4770K@3.5GHz or Ryzen 5 1500X@3.5GHz
  • Memory: 16 GB RAM
  • Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 (6 GB) or AMD Radeon RX 580 (8GB)

Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition will launch on PC via Steam and Epic Games Store starting August 7, 2020. 

The Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition will include the full base game and The Frozen Wilds expansion.  It will also include the following pack:

  • Carja Storm Ranger Outfit and Carja Mighty Bow
  • Carja Trader Pack
  • Banuk Trailblazer Outfit and Banuk Culling Bow
  • Banuk Traveller Pack
  • Nora Keeper Pack
  • Digital art book

A sequel to the game has also been revealed during the PS5 Showcase in early June. The game is called Horizon: Forbidden West, and will follow Aloy’s story as she encounters new robot enemies and friends on her journey along the West Coast of America. However, it is confirmed if Guerilla Games will release the sequel on PC anytime soon, especially since PlayStation Chief Jim Ryan wants to make the game a PS5 exclusive for the new console.
