Genshin Impact has finally released the trailer for Version 1.6 called “Midsummer Island Adventure.” In this update, players will be introduced to a new 5-star character named Kaedahara Kazuha, an Anemo sword-user from Inazuma. Klee’s Character Banner “Sparkling Steps” will also have a re-run during Version 1.6, which will be followed by Kadehara Kazuha’s Banner “Leaves in the Wind.” There will also be a new monster, new Archon quest, and new weapons that will be introduced in the game, as well as a handful of events that will bring awesome prizes.

New Character
Kaedahara Kazuha
“Whenever in this world I roam, I carry memories of my home…”
Kaedahara Kazuha is a wandering samurai from Inazuma who is currently with Liyue’s Crux Fleet. A gentle and carefree soul whose heart hides a great many burdens from the past.
Kaedahara Kazuha is the brand-new playable character in Genshin Impact Version 1.6, and is the first playable character from Inazuma. He is a five-star Anemo sword-user
Kazuha carries an Anemo vision and weilds a sword as his weapon. Here are some of his skills:
Chihayaburu – Elemental Skill
Kazuha unleashes a secret technique that pulls objects and opponents towards his current position before launching the opponents within the Area of Effect, dealing Anemo damage and lifting Kazuha into the air on a rushing wind current.
While Kazuha is in mid-air from the effects of Chihayaburu, he can unleash a particularly powerful Plunging Attack, Midare Ranzan. His Plunging Attack Damage is converted to Anemo Damage and will create a miniature wind tunnel taht pulls nearby objects and opponents in.
The tap effect of Kazuha’s Elemental Skill can also be used in mid-air. And lastly, if you hold his Elemental Skill button longer, it charges up to unleash greater Anemo Damage over a larger AoE.
Kazuha Slash – Elemental Burst
With a single slash, Kazuha deals AoE Anemo Damage. His blade’s passage will leave behind a field named “Autumn Whirlwind,” which will deal AoE Anemo Damage at set intervals to opponents within it. Elemental Absorption can occur in this field too.
Soumon Swordmanship – Passive Talent 1
When his Elemental Skill comes into contact with any of the other elements, Elemental Absorption will occur and Kazuha’s Plunging Attack will deal additional Damage of that elemental type by a certain percentage.
Poetics of Fuubutsu – Passive Talent 2
This grants teammates an Elemental Damage Bonus to their corresponding Element upon triggering a Swirl reaction.
Cloud Strider – Utility Passive
This decreases sprinting Stamina consumption for his party members.
Character Event Wish
In Version 1.6, Klee will be re-appearing in her own Event Wish first, Sparkling Steps. After Klee, Kaedehara Kazuha will appear in his very own Event Wish called Leaves in the Wind.
New Weapons
There will also be brand-new weapons that will come in Version 1.6. There is the five-star sword called Freedom-Sword, and a 4-star bow weapon called Mitternachts Waltz, which seems to be designed specifically for our mysterious Electro-bow character, Fischl.
New Monster
Maguu Kenki
A mechanical humanoid from another nation. Wields a secret blade of a kind that only a mechanical being ever could, crushing all who disturb the silent with razor-sharp wind and ice as frigid as steel.
The core of Maguu Kenki lies on its phantoms. When its HP drops below a certain amount, it will enter the phantom stage. During this stage, Maguu Kenki’s attacks will turn to Anemo attacks and its phantoms will begin to appear and deliver coordinated attacks as well. The phantoms’ attacks will be imbued with elemental energy, dealing both Anemo and Cryo Damage.
New Archon Quest – Autumn Winds, Scarlet Leaves
The New Archon Quest – “Autumn Winds, Scarlet Leaves” will act as a prologue for Chapter 2 of the Archon Quest. It will introduce the Traveler the story of Inazuma. As it was stated earlier, Kaedahara Kazuha is from Inazuma, and he is now a fugitive running from the Shogun.
New Event – Midsummer Island Adventure
Klee receives a mysterious letter sent by Dodo King, who threatens in the letter to take Dodoco away from Klee. So, in order to protect Dodoco and Klee, Travelers are gonna search out the remote “Dodoland” in hopes of settling the stituation with Dodo King.
Dodoland is a whole new area for Travelers to explore. To facilitate the exploration, there will be special Waypoints located throughout the area. Additionally, Travelers will be able to summon the unique “Waverider” boat at Waverider Waypoints.
Traveler will be able to summon their own individual waveriders and sail the seas with other players in Co-Op Mode. With the Waverider, Travelers can get to different places in the archipelago. Travelers will encounter new materials, and will also get to solve some brand-new puzzles to unlock treasures hidden among the islands.
Travelers will also have some brand new World Quests to complete along the way.
All-New Character Outfits
Jean – Sea Breeze Dandelion
Sea Breeze Dandelion is coming to the Character Outfit Shop at a limited-time discount. Character Outfit Shop at a limited-time discount. After the discount period, it can still be purchased in the Character Outfit Shop at full price.
Barbara – Summertime Sparkle
Summertime Sparkle can be obtained for free by collection Echoing Conches during the Echoing Tales event. The outfit will be available in the Character Outfit Shop in future versions.
New Event – Echoing Tales
During the event, there will be some magical “Echoing Conches.” Not only can we listen to some hidden stories from them but also we can claim rewards when we have collected a certain amount of conches.
New Event – Kaboomball Kombat
In this event, we will be confronting something called a Dodofortress. The Dodofortress wil shoot Kaboomballs of various kinds. And we need to use our Dodoguards to reflect the Kaboomballs and deal damage to the fortress.
New Event – Never-ending Battle
In this event, Travelers can choose the difficulty of challenge. A higher difficulty will result in higher scores. Throughout the challenge, powerful Berserker Opponents will emerge among the enemies. And “Momentum Discs” will descend upon the field.
When players defeat Berserker Opponents and use Harpasta to destroy the Momentum Discs, they will gain Momentum. As Momentum reaches specific amounts, more buffs will be unlocked to help players complete the challenges.
New Event – Legend of Vagabond Sword
This is a domain challenge. In this event, three powerful foes await. Travelers could kick up the difficulty of the challenge and select certain “Flairs”, or conditions, to achieve higher scores.
System Optimizations
- A serial navigation function for tracking and navigating to enemies from the Adventurer Handbook.
- New keyboard shortcuts for PC.
- Adds detailed information to the domain entry screen.
System Update – Serenitea Pot
A new feature for the Serenitea Pot will come in Version 1.6. After the Version Update, Travelers will be able to inviteu up to eight characters at a time to their realms upon finishing the tutorial task “A Teapot to Call Home: Part II.”
While these characters reside in our realm, their Character Companionship Experience will gradually increase. And when the Adeptal Energy Rank increases, the rate at which Character Companionship Experience is gained will also be increased.

The game is incredible but it can also leave you with tears and sadness because you can feel the pain the characters have felt, for example,Zhongli,he also lost someone special to him named “Guizhong”.Xiao, he lost everything and he blames himself for that while he is trapped in the darkness. Venti, lost his best friend and he watches how monstadt slowly loses the freedom to the fatui.Kazuha, also lost a friend dear tofatui
So please Mihoyo, give some justice to those characters, and please don’t kill any of them.
I feel you, bro! I can never move on from Zhongli and Guizhong’s story. The Geo Archon were just tired seeing everyone precious to him die or change over the course of time. Venti and his story also is heartbreaking, and I’m just glad he can still remain optimism despite the things that happened.
